Activ’M Classic Gel Instructions / English

Activ’M Gel is a next-generation medical-grade silicone gel, carefully selected for its biocompatibility. With its mattifying and non-greasy effect, Activ’M Gel forms a thin, transparent protective film that improves the appearance of scars.

Activ’M Gel is ideal for use in areas where applying a dressing is difficult (face, flexion areas, joints).

INDICATIONS

Activ’M Gel is intended for:

  • Preventive use on closed wounds to reduce scarring from surgical procedures or burns.
  • Curative use on recent and old scars, whether hypertrophic or keloid.

Activ’M Gel is suitable for children from 2 years of age. For use in children under this age, consult a healthcare professional.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Activ’M Gel should not be used in the following cases:

  • On open wounds
  • If maceration occurs
  • On mucous membranes or near the eyes
  • Do not inhale or ingest
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Do not use the same tube for more than 60 days

SIDE EFFECTS

  • If skin reactions occur (redness, irritation, etc.), discontinue use and consult a doctor.
  • If maceration occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
  • If ingested, seek medical advice immediately.
  • If it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly and consult a doctor.
  • If a serious side effect occurs, stop using the product and contact the manufacturer or the relevant health authority in your country.

APPLICATION METHOD

  • Before applying, clean and dry the scar thoroughly.
  • Apply a small amount of Activ’M Gel to the scar and spread it in a thin layer.
  • Apply twice a day, morning and evening.
  • Close the tube tightly after use.

The recommended minimum treatment duration is 2 to 4 months. Treatment can be extended for up to 1 year. For optimal performance, do not use the same tube for more than 2 months.

Due to friction, part of the protective film may be removed. However, a thin layer of silicone will remain on the scar, leaving a silky effect on your skin.
